Based on a 100-hectare, granite site in what has to be one of the world's most underrated wine regions for stylish, food friendly wines, Portugal's Dao region, Casa Americo is producing top quality budget friendly wines. This red is a blend of Touriga Naçional, Jaen, and Aragones, with lightly smoky, bright plum and mixed red/dark fruit flavors. Nicely dry on the finish and well balanced at 13% ABV.
