2016 Tenuta di Sesta Poggio d'Arnia

A blend of 40% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Franc and 30% Merlot from a 200-hectare estate with 30 hectares under vine. The property has been owned and managed by Giovanni Ciacci and his family since 1996. The first bottles of Brunello from the Tenuta di Sesta Estate were produced in 1966 by Giuseppe Ciacci, father of current owner. According to the winery, there were only twelve other such producers at the time and, for this reason, the Tenuta di Sesta Estate is recognized as one of the historical estates in the territory of Montalcino.
