Jean de La Fontaine "L'Éloquente" Brut Champagne

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Produced in the Aube region, this ripe full wine is rich and generous. With apple and pear fruitiness and a smooth creamy mousse, the wine has just the right amount of bottle aging. (RV)" (12/2017) K&L Notes: This wonderful bargain in Champagne is a blend of 70% Meunier, 25% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir, mostly from the western edge of Champagne. It is aged over three years on the lees. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne Buyer)

Michel Arnould Verzenay Brut Rosé Champagne (1.5L)

Roger Voss' selection of the best grower-producers of Champagne: "Michel Arnould & Fils has 30 acres based around Verzenay on the Montagne de Reims. Pinot Noir dominates his production, of which the best are the Cuvée Carte d’Or and Grande Cuvée." If you have enjoyed the wines of Lallement, Bollinger, and Krug in the past, you may very much enjoy the bold Champagne of Michel Arnould. The Brut Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir Grand Cru, acquired by assembling different vintages and red Coteaux Champenoises coming from old vines. This lovely rosé Champagne offers h ...

Damien Hugot Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru

This extra brut is not nearly as dry and steely as one might expect, as it is sourced from the Hugot estate's very old massal selected vineyards in the grand cru's of Cramant and Chouilly. It is Meursault-like in its richness, with subtle pineapple notes framed by fresh baguette flavors. Don't be afraid to drink this as an aperitif! It is quite rich and broad for an extra brut! 2012 Fallet-Dart Vintage Brut Champagne

The Fallet family traces its wine growing history back to 1610, and following the marriage of Geneviève Dart and Gaston Fallet in 1953 the Fallet-Dart brand was founded in 1970. The vintage wines are generally 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir that fermented in a mix of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks and aged for at least seven years.

Fallet-Dart "Grande Selection" Brut Champagne (375ml)

Wine Spectator: "A firm, elegant style, this reveals floral, dough and candied berry notes. Harmonious, ending with a refreshing crispness." (12/2006) K&L Notes: This all-estate Champagne is aged for six years on the lees and is composed of 70% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. This wine has very fine, brioche like aromas from the long sur-lee-aging as well as a savory cherry note from the high-quality Pinot. It is very rich and long in the mouth, with a fine bead, again from long aging.

Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne Nebuchadnezzar 15L

91 points Wine Spectator: "A well-cut and lacy Champagne in an elegant, aperitif style, with hints of chalk and graphite underscoring the lively Honeycrisp apple, cherry and lemon curd flavors. Offers a sleek, minerally finish. Drink now through 2021. (AN)" (11/2018) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The latest rendition of the NV Brut Yellow Label offers up aromas of toasty, honeyed yellow orchard fruit and white flowers, followed by a medium-bodied, open-knit palate with tangy acids, a youthfully frothy mousse and pure if somewhat brief finish. This is ...

1999 Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (3L)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the finest Champagnes I have ever brought to my lips, the 1999 Cristal bursts from the glass with fresh hazelnut and apple scents. Elegant, deep, and silky-textured, this medium to full-bodied beauty is immensely concentrated, pure, packed with apple flavors, and astoundingly long in the finish. Louis Roederer does not display a disgorgement date or consumer friendly lot number on its non-vintage Brut. This is regrettable as it has consistently been one of the finer bottlings in this category. (PR)" (12/20 ...
