Bid on this 2-bottle lot of Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Champagne (93DC, 93JS, 92WS, 91RP). James Suckling: "Cinnamon and dried nutmeg add to the experience of bread dough and rose petals. Flavorful on the medium-bodied palate and finely poised with bright acidity. Medium-long on the finish." (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Duhart-Milon, Pauillac (97JD, 97RP, 95JS, 95VN, 93DC, 93WE, 92WS, (90-91JG)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Merlot, it displays an inky/blue/purple color as well as a big, sweet nose of creme de cassis, forest floor, licorice, lead pencil, cedar and subtle barrique smells. Viscous and full-bodied, it is the most concentrated and broadest example of this cuvee I have tasted in over three decades. It will be ready to drink in 5-7 years and should last for three decades or more. Consumers looking to maximize value should be checking out Duhart Milon, as this may be the single smartest purchase in this great and historic vintage! (RP)" (02/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96JD, 94JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the two reds, the appellation 2017 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast reveals a ruby/purple, translucent color as well as a stunning perfume of black raspberries, cassis, crushed violets, spice box, sweet earth. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, has beautiful depth, a kiss of background oak, and a great finish. Mostly destemmed and aged 17 months in 40% new French oak, it's a brilliant wine to drink over the coming decade or more." (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JS, 98DC, 98RP, 96VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "Fantastic aromas that are complex and complete with blackcurrants, blueberries and herbs, such as basil and bay leaf. But always subtle. Full-bodied yet linear and very refined with a very persistent finish. It shows drive and brightness. So refined at the end. Needs at least three to five years to come together. " (02/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Mayacamas Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 96JD, 96VN, 95WS, 92W&S). James Suckling: "Aromas of blackcurrant, mushroom, wet earth and bark follow through to a full body, chewy tannins and a stone, berry, chili and spice aftertaste. Muscular and chunky. Very serious. Almost no new oak. This shows the Mayacamas DNA. " (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $185.01

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine des Sénéchaux Châteauneuf-du-Pape (94JD, 94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Sénéchaux's 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape still has a long life ahead of it. Leather, cedar and licorice notes accent fresh cherries on the nose, while the full-bodied palate manages to be warm, generous and creamy in texture while finishing crisp, intense and long. Drink through 2030. (JC)" (08/2019)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Carlisle "Papera Ranch" Russian River Valley Zinfandel (97JD, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Zinfandel Papera Ranch comes from a site close to the Mancini Ranch and vines planted in 1934. Notes of plums, blueberries, violets, and earthy, herbal notes all flow to a full-bodied, incredibly deep, layered and concentrated 2017 that certainly makes the most of the vintage. With ripe tannins, remarkable purity of fruit, no hard edges, and flawless balance, it’s another gem in the vintage." (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (98JD, 97RP, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The best since the 1990, the 2000 Pichon-Longueville Baron is just now starting to shed some baby fat and develop additional complexity and layers. This still ruby/plum-colored beauty boasts a phenomenal nose of blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, lead pencil shavings, and new saddle leather. It’s deep, full-bodied, and sexy, with incredible amounts of texture and opulence that keeps you coming back to the glass. It makes a mockery of so many Bordeaux today that are made in a so-called elegant style yet lack the fat, richness, and density to ever hit this high a level. With low acidity, beautiful purity of fruit, sweet tannins, and a great finish, it’s in the early to middle range of its drink window (I love it today) and has another two decades of sensational drinking ahead. Readers wanting to know what truly great Bordeaux tastes like should open a bottle of this!" (03/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (98VN, 97DC, 96RP, 96W&S, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2002 Dom Pérignon is unforgettable. Rich, sumptuous and flamboyant to the core, the 2002 captures all of the radiance of a year in which ripeness in the Chardonnays was pushed to the edge. The 2002 is oily and viscous on the palate, with tremendous textural resonance in all of its dimensions. Tropical fruit, pastry and exotic floral notes all build as the 2002 opens up with air. I can still remember the first time I tasted the 2002, here in the Hautvillers cloister, with former Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy. It was thrilling back then, and is every bit as memorable today. (AG)" (07/2019)
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Le Carré, St-Emilion (97RP, 93JS, 93ST, 93WS, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Achieving nearly 15% natural alcohol (one of the highest of the Jonathan Maltus St. Emilion estates) , this blend of approximately 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc is from vineyards that sit on limestone soils near Clos Fourtet, an area that performed brilliantly in 2009. Inky purple, with notes of graphite, vanillin, blackberry and cassis as well as crushed rock and floral notes, the wine has breathtaking extravagance and a luxuriant fruit quality that simply has to be tasted to be believed. Phenomenally rich, full-bodied, and brilliantly poised and well-balanced, this is a tour de force in winemaking and a colossal Le Carre, the finest Jonathan Maltus has yet produced. (RP)" (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (95JS, 94WS, 93RP, 92VN). James Suckling: "This shows intense aromas of mint, lead pencil and currants that follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a finish with tension and freshness. " (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $851.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Roger Sabon "Prestige" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95RP, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The brilliant 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Prestige (60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, and the balance almost every other authorized red grape of the appellation) is produced from parcels that average 90 years of age or older. It reveals the essence of Provence in its dense plum/purple color and powerful aromatics of sweet creme de cassis, black cherries, licorice, lavender, pepper, and incense. The wine possesses terrific depth, a blockbuster, opulent, multilayered texture, and a finish that lasts nearly 50 seconds. This sensational Chateauneuf du Pape should drink well for 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2009)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1986 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The fully mature, open-knit 1986 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve is totally delicious. The color is dark garnet with some amber at the edge. The big, sweet, licorice, earthy, jammy, black fruit-scented nose is followed by a full-bodied, sweet, expansive, chewy wine with no hard edges. The acidity and tannin are both well-integrated in this plump, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon. (RP)" (08/1996)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (92WS, 90WE). Wine Spectator: "Firmly tannic, with a rich, ripe core of earth-laced wild berry and raspberry flavors, this gains depth and complexity on the long, detailed finish, reverberating with flavors. (JL)" (04/2013)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 99DC, 98WE, 98WS). Vinous: "A towering, thrilling wine, the 2016 Mouton Rothschild is unbelievably beautiful today. Aromatics, fruit density and vertical structure all come together. In the glass, the 2016 is remarkably vivid and powerful, and yet a gentler, more feminine side emerges with time in the glass. The intense, mineral, savory profile recalls the 1986, but the 2016 has more grace, inner sweetness and sophistication than that wine. Even so, the 2016 is going to need at least a number of years in bottle before it starts drinking well, although it won't be the bruiser the 1986 remains to this day. This is breathtaking wine from Mouton, Tecnical Director Philippe Dhalluin and his team. (AG)" (01/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Pavie, St-Emilion (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 99VN, 96WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Gérard Perse believes this is the greatest Pavie he’s made to date, although certainly I would argue that list includes the 2000, as well as the 2009 and 2010, among his superstars. This wine, which I had both in the 2005 horizontal report in the Wine Advocate, and at a mini-vertical with Perse at the restaurant Maison Boulud in Montreal, looks to be a 75- to 100-year wine. Dense, opaque purple to the rim, with a gorgeously promising nose of blackberries, cassis, graphite and cedar wood just beginning to emerge, it tastes more like a three-year-old than wine that is already a decade old. This beauty is intense and full-bodied, with magnificent concentration, a majestic mouthfeel and a total seamless integration of tannin, wood, alcohol, etc. Beautifully rich, full and multidimensional, this is a tour de force in winemaking and certainly one of the top dozen or so

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94VN, 93CG, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has more energy and focus than the Napa Valley bottling. Iron, graphite, red fruits, dried flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in this deep, complex, powerful wine. I imagine the 2009 will still be spectacular at age 30. For now, it needs at least another handful of years of cellaring to drink well. Huge veins of minerality support the huge fruit, giving the wine much of its pure tension and vitality. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming decades. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2039. (AG) 96+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1994 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 99RP, 95DC, 93VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Christian Moueix and his talented winemaking team continue to rewrite the definition of a Napa Valley reference point wine. I have had a difficult time keeping the corks in my bottles of 1994 Dominus. Eight-thousand cases were produced from a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot. In this vintage, 174 days passed between bud break and the harvest, a remarkable period of time for any wine region in the world. The 1994 is a strikingly thick, compellingly rich wine with the texture of a great Pomerol, despite being made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine exhibits a dense purple color, and an incredibly fragrant nose of jammy black fruits, spice, smoke, and loamy, truffle-like scents. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, with thrilling levels of extract and richness, but no sense of heaviness or ha
Starting Bid: $1,350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 95RP, 95VN, 94ST, 93WS). James Suckling: "Stones and walnuts with blackberries and blueberries. A full-bodied, super-refined and polished wine that culminates in a racy and refined finish. Extremely long and exciting. Great wine." (02/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94WE, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Ripe and racy on the nose, this always much-anticipated release shows black raspberry, baked strawberry, wet cement, cinnamon and mace spice and cola on the nose. The palate is surprisingly, refreshingly restrained, with sizzling acidity cutting across the chocolate-dipped black cherries, baking spice, dried oregano and rosemary that show in the mid-palate. (MK)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (100JD, 100RP, 98WS, 97ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utter perfection, and one of the most profound Rhone Ranger wines I have ever tasted … As with many prodigious wines, the extraordinary freshness, purity, equilibrium, and singularity of this effort is breathtaking. Its dense purple color is accompanied by an extraordinary, incredibly pure, all enveloping, intense, sweet nose of black raspberries, kirsch, spring flowers, spice box, and pepper. Full-bodied with not a hard edge to be found, it is stunningly concentrated with unreal purity, a voluptuous texture, and remarkable freshness for a wine of such power, depth, and concentration. (RP)" (08/2009)
Starting Bid: $530.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 99JS, 98RP, 94VN, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The most structured and backward in the lineup, yet with incredible potential, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is a monumental bottle of wine that ticked all my boxes. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 100% new Darnajou barrels, it reveals a deep purple color as well as a myriad of blueberry and cassis fruits, candied violets, spice box, and licorice, with just a hint of background oak and a lead pencil note. With a full-bodied, layered, thrilling texture, masses of ripe tannins, and a more focused and elegant style than usual for this cuvée, forget bottles for 4-5 years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following 25+ years." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96WS, 95DC, 95RP, 94VN, 92W&S). Wine Spectator: "Really dense and locked up now, this is packed with dark fig, currant and blackberry fruit shrouded by layers of tar, hot stone, bittersweet licorice and espresso. The long, dense finish has a great tug of iron buried within it. Best from 2011 through 2030. *Collectibles, #8 of Top 100 Wines of 2008* (JM) " (04/2008)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon ((96-97JS), 96VN, 96WS, 94W&S, 94WE, 93RP, 93ST). James Suckling: "I can't wait to taste this in bottle. Bright fruit, with currants and plums on the nose. A powerful and structured palate, with plenty of tannins and a long flavorful finish. This is precise, a combination of the 2006 and 2007. Barrel sample." (02/2011)

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Taylor Vintage Port (98RP, 96WE, 95ST, 95WS, 94JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Among the most saturated blue/purple/black-colored examples of the vintage, Taylor's 2000 tastes like a young vintage of Chateau Latour on steroids. Aromas of graphite, blackberry liqueur, creme de cassis and smoke jump from the glass. Spectacularly concentrated and enormously endowed, with sweetness allied to ripe tannin, decent acidity, and layer upon layer of fruit and extract, this is the leading candidate for the port of the vintage. (RP)" (10/2002)
Starting Bid: $70.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (93WE, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Named after the famed vineyard’s south-facing slopes, this vintage is expertly crafted, with aromas of ripe red cherry, sandalwood, black pepper, graphite, purple flowers and damp pine needles. It’s complex, with dark red fruit and tickling cardamom spice set against fine-grained tannins. Quite precise and tight now, the violet and rose petal elements will expand beautifully with time, so drink 2019–2025. *Cellar Selection* (MK)" (04/2015)
Starting Bid: $244.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Calera "Mills" Mt. Harlan Pinot Noir (93RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard takes shape beautifully in the glass, with layers of bright red fruits, flowers, spices and tobacco. It is an impeccable, polished wine from start to finish. This is one of the wines that shows more stem character than some of the others. A textured, multi-dimensional finish of considerable elegance sets the Mills Vineyard apart. (AG)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Pierre Usseglio "Mon Aïeul" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 97JD, 95WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The best bottle of this I've had (and I've had plenty), Usseglio's 2003 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée de Mon Aieul is a blockbuster and one of the true stars of this vintage. Almost all Grenache (there's a small part of Syrah and Cinsault) that was harvest between September 1-13, partially destemmed and aged in both tank and foudre, this massive, voluptuous effort is almost overflowing with notes of ground herbs, chocolate dusted meats, black fruits and licorice. Showing none of the negative traits of the vintage, with beautiful purity and freshness, sweet tannin, and a great finish. (JD)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $211.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Palmer, Margaux (94RP, 91WS, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A successful wine for the vintage, this blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot boasts complex notes of menthol, black currants, plums, licorice, and a hint of cappuccino in its stunning aromatics. Dense, medium to full-bodied, with high levels of tannin in a big, full-bodied style (much in the spirit of such classic Bordeaux vintages as 1966, 1986, and 1996), this wine possesses superb purity and serious length, but should be purchased only by those with considerable patience and a good, cold cellar, since it will need plenty of time. (RP)" (04/2005)
Starting Bid: $441.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Whitehall Lane "Morisoli Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Young, dark and concentrated, with sharply focused currant, black cherry, plum and spicy flavors, smooth, supple tannins and a long, rich aftertaste. Tempting now, but worthy of cellaring, too." (09/1997)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red is made from 45% Grenache, 29% Mourvedre, 18% Syrah and 8% Counoise (which Justin commented was a blend that was put together relatively late). It saw a big chunk of whole cluster (the Grenache was mostly destemmed though) and was brought up all in puncheons and foudre (the normal concrete component went to the Rocket Block). It offers up gorgeous notes of black raspberries, cherries, cassis, ground herbs and flowers. This beauty hits the palate with incredible purity, fine tannin and an overriding sense of elegance and finesse, backed up by full-bodied richness and depth. It needs to be forgotten for 3-4 years and it will drink beautifully through 2028. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014-2015 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2014 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 95RP, 93DC) and 1-bottle of 2015 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 97RP, 95JS, 92DC). Of the 2015 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Last of the blends, the 2015 The Bard checks in as 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Like the Falstaff, it has a terrific purity and freshness as well as full-bodied richness and depth. Blackberries, currants, liquid rock, and tobacco all give way to a gorgeous, deep, layered Cabernet Sauvignon that’s still tight, backward and reserved on the palate. Give bottles three to four years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following two decades. 98+" (12/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Kutch Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93VN). Vinous: "Dark red cherries, plums, spices, menthol and rose petals meld together in the 2013 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast. Dark, mysterious and supple in the glass, the 2013 is super pure and pretty today. Expressive savory notes from the 100% whole clusters add lift and nuance on the finish. The 2013 is a blend of fruit from Sonoma Stage, where the terrain is rich in clay, and McDougall, which is characterized by sandier soils. This is one of the best artisan Sonoma Coast Pinots readers will find for the money. (AG)" (01/2015)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Schrader Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Horizontal (OWC) (OWC), including 2-bottles of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 97JS), 1-bottle of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96JS, 95WS), 2-bottles of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 96RP, 94WS), and 1-bottle of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - T6" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95JS). Of the 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon LPV is from clone 337 from the Las Piedras Vineyard in St. Helena. This shows Mission Haut-Brion-like characteristics as it has in the past, with crushed rock, wet gravel, scorched earth, blackberry and blueberry fruit. It is clearly one of my favorites of this entire tasting. It has 14.5% natural alcohol and was aged in

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Sine Qua Non "E & M" Sta. Rita Hills Tasting Lot (OWC) (OWC), including 3-bottles of 2015 Sine Qua Non "E" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100RP, 100VN, 98JD) and 3-bottles of 2015 Sine Qua Non "M" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (99JD, 99RP, 98VN). Of the 2015 Sine Qua Non "E" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache ,Vinous writes: "The 2015 Grenache E, from Elaine and Manfred Krankl’s Eleven Confessions Vineyard, is stunningly beautiful. Remarkably light on its feet for such a sumptuous wine, the 2015 has so much to offer. Beautifully expressive aromatics make a strong opening impression. Dark red and purplish berry fruit, mint, sweet spice and licorice develop with air, but it is the wine’s overall feel that stands out most. At times, the E is quite powerful, while in other moments it is much more delicate. That contrast makes for an utterly captivating wine. (AG)" (09/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay.
Starting Bid: $192.30

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 95JD, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Vieux Telegraphe may be the greatest wine made at this property since the 2005 and 1998. Dense ruby/purple-tinged with an exquisite nose of salty sea breezes, licorice, ground pepper, jammy black cherries, black currants, figs, and plums, this is a full-bodied, rich, Provencal-styled offering with lots of sweet, ripe tannin. It is surprisingly accessible for a Vieux Telegraphe (this wine normally shuts down several years after bottling), but it should have great longevity (25+ years) given its power, full-bodied mouthfeel, and enormous length and richness. This is a brilliant effort from brothers Frederic and Daniel Brunier. (RP) 96+" (10/2009)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013-2015 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN), 1-bottle of 2014 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97JD, 97RP, 96VN, 95DC), and 1-bottle of 2015 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 98JS, 97VN, 94WS). Of the 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Vinous writes: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (01/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96RP, 95WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Never one of Laurent's favorite vintages (although I suspect he's warmed up to it slightly), the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape continues to drink brilliantly, and while this bottle was just slightly closed, I’ve had numerous bottles from my cellar that are open and singing. Nevertheless, on this occasion, it took some swirling to get it to open up and it’s a concentrated, structured, full-bodied beauty that has the classic elegance of the estate yet with another level of fruit and exuberance. It’s just at the early stages of full maturity, is a smoking good drink and will keep for another 10-15 years. (JD) 96+" (02/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95WS, 94JS, 94VN, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the world’s great wines and profound expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, is the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. This wine spends more than 30 months in 100% new oak, and, year in year out, has been one of the most singular and profound examples of Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. It seems Shafer began to ratchet up performance during the 1990s, and the first decade of the 21st century has provided a treasure trove of either perfect or nearly perfect wines, including the 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and more recently the 2010, 2012 and, in all likelihood, the 2013. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select (about 2,000 cases produced) is another one of those 'wow' wines, but it does it with a sort of measured richness and restraint and extraordinary subtle character, like the Gary Cooper of Napa Cabernet Sauvignons -

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 99JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. Drink through 2031. (RP)" (03/2016)

Give it another couple years to mellow. 1998 Piedmont blind retrospective. (Web-2008)"

Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest.
