2011 Williams Selyem "Foss Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Williams Selyem "Foss Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid ruby-red. Sexy, smoke- and spice-accented aromas and flavors of black raspberry and cherry cola show impressive clarity. Vibrant and precise, with excellent back-end lift and cut. Repeats the berry and cola notes on a long, seamless penetrating finish. (ST)" (05/2013)

2011 Sine Qua Non "The Moment" California White Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Sine Qua Non "The Moment" California White Blend (95RP, 94VN, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Starting off the tasting and a prodigious, unctuous white, the 2011 The Moment checks in as a blend of 57% Roussanne, 19% Petit Manseng, 17% Chardonnay and 7% Viognier that spent 16 months in a combination of concrete, new and used barrels, and stainless steel. Offering up notions of marzipan, citrus oil flowers, marmalade and spiced apricots, it flows onto the palate with full-bodied richness and depth that's balanced by beautiful underlying freshness and clarity. While I would lean towards drinking bottles over the coming 2-3 years, these can absolutely age, and have upwards of 10-15+ years of longevity. Drink now-2017+. (JD)" (08/2013)

2011 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 90VN) in original wood. Vinous: "(14.8% alcohol; from a vineyard planted at an altitude of 2,100 feet): Bright ruby-red. Sexy oak complements but does not overwhelm aromas of medicinal black cherry, coffee, mocha, dark chocolate and licorice. Fat on entry, then sweet and juicy in the middle, with good intensity to the flavors of black and sour cherry and chocolate mint. Finishes long, with a lightly herbal quality nicely counterpointed by sweet mocha. With air, the fruit component faded into the background as a mineral element emerged. (ST)" (05/2014)

2011 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92DC). Decanter: "This vigorous Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from young vines planted at Harlan Estate and Promontory, and is a project conceived by founder Bill Harlan's son Will. It was first produced in 2008. 2011 was a relatively cool year, which gives the wine its freshness. The nose is vibrant and seductive, with blackcurrant aromas. Sumptuous and concentrated on the palate, it's also sustained by firm tannins and sufficient acidity. The finish is robust and long, and although intended to be drunk on release, it will certainly age. Drinking Window 2018-2028. (SB)" (09/2018)

2011 Shafer "Relentless" Napa Valley Syrah
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2011 Shafer "Relentless" Napa Valley Syrah (94WE, 94WS, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "There’s no denying the power in this wine, which contains Syrah and Petite Sirah sourced from one ridgetop Stags Leap District site. But in this case, power is a beautiful thing, sinewy and contained. Complex in plum, gamy meat and a lingering suggestion of coconut, it has size offset by the acidity, and a beguiling finish of cracked black pepper. Things will get more interesting in the cellar, through 2021–2026. *Top Cellar Selections of 2015* (VB)" (05/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Cayuse "God Only Knows" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (96RP, 96WE, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Grenache God Only Knows is shockingly good in the vintage. Sporting a big, masculine profile, with notions of lite gunpowder, ground pepper, herbs and wild strawberry and blackberry fruit, it flows onto the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a full, rich mid-palate and a healthy dose of tannin that will require short-term cellaring to integrate. This knockout Grenache will be at its finest from 2016-2026. (JD)" (06/2014)

Wine Enthusiast: "While this Pinot isn’t in the same league as the winery’s 2011 Precious Mountain or Allen vineyard wines, it’s a gorgeous wine nonetheless. With moderate alcohol and vibrant acidity, it offers complex layers of cherries, raspberries, cola, sandalwood and exotic spices. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (02/2014)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2011 Anomaly Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Anomaly was founded by two former attorneys who fled the traffic of San Francisco for the bucolic life near St. Helena. According to the winery: "The 2011 Anomaly reflects its growing season; cool, crisp, and classic. The wine is incredibly dark, and offers scents of lavender, rose oil, toasted almonds, and anise. The palate is fresh and vibrant; it reminds us of dark cherry, blackberry, and pomegranate."

Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard is a very good wine, especially within the context of the vintage. Scorched earth, smoke, leather, licorice, bittersweet chocolate and dark fruit develop in the glass, with an extra kick of energy from the cool vintage that adds an extra dimension of savoriness. 2011 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Juicy dark cherries, cloves, new leather, licorice and asphalt are all woven together beautifully in Mark Aubert’s 2011 Pinot Noir Ritchie Vineyard. Despite its considerable size and volume, the 2011 possesses stunning detail, nuance and freshness. Rose petals, violets and plums all grace a finish that stands out for its total elegance and class. I hope readers can appreciate how rare it is to find a wine with both this level of depth and nuance. Aromatically, the Ritchie Pinot has much in common with the Chardonnays from the same site, although I realize that may sound a bit esoteric. Maybe, but it’s true. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2023. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Williams Selyem "Ferrington Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (96CG, 93ST, 92WE, 91VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "This lithe and wonderfully refined effort is a study in balance and fruity precision, and it is uncannily graceful and concentrated at the same time. Its keen, red-cherry aromas show subtle shadings of minerals and lavender and a light kiss of oak, and its continuous, light-on-their-feet flavors follow suit. It is so incisively fruity and beautifully balanced that we worry a bit that too many bottles will be drunk up too soon, for as good as it is now, it will only get better with age, and we can see it evolving for many years. *Three Stars*" (02/2014)

Shows plenty of grip, presenting a long, full finish, filled with Asian spice and raspberry tart accents. Rich and chocolaty. One for the ages. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Bryant Family "Bettina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend ((90-92RP), 92VN). Vinous: "The 2011 Bettina is a bit closed in on itself. Dark red cherry, plum, licorice, smoke and tobacco emerge over time. Today the 2011 is a bit compact, which is not surprising considering the vintage. With time in the glass, the 2011 starts to find its typical explosive, dark personality, but today some slightly angular contours remain. The blend is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. (AG) 92+" (11/2013)

John Gilman: "The 2011 Petits Monts is a beautiful wine that will develop into a gorgeous middleweight of great flavor intensity and transparency in the fullness of time. The very suave bouquet offers up scents of black cherries, dark berries, woodsmoke, dark soil tones, Vosne spice, a touch of duck and a stylish base of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish, pure and classy, with a fine core of black fruit, superb soil inflection, suave tannins and a very long, soil-driven and classy finish. Just lovely juice. Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2011 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 92ST, 91WS). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon has really come together over the last six months. Deep, layered and resonant, the 2011 is easily among the top wines of the year. New leather, spices, mocha and plum notes flesh out in the glass. The style is quite textured, especially in comparison with the other great wines of the year. Hints of sage, rosemary, new leather and cloves wrap around a pointed, beautifully articulated finish supported by insistent veins of salinity. (AG)" (11/2013)

John Gilman: "Last year’s commemorative bottling of the one hundred year-old vines in the Fourrier section of Clos St. Jacques is now a thing of the past, and there is once again only a single cuvée of Clos St. Jacques in the cellars in 2011. Oh, but what a wine! The deep, transparent and magical nose wafts from the glass in a very sappy blend of red and black cherries, cocoa, grilled meats, black minerality, woodsmoke, fresh thyme and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a great core, a properly reserved structure, exceptional focus and a very long, chewy and still quite primary finish. This is going to be an absolutely brilliant wine at its apogee. (Drink between 2023-2075)" (11/2012)

2011 Cayuse "Flying Pig" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Cayuse "Flying Pig" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94WE, 92ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A Merlot-dominated blend, the 2011 Flying Pig checks in as 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 12 months in 50% new French oak before being moved to large oak puncheons. Deep-ruby in color, it has beautiful cassis, plum, licorice, olive tapenade and lead pencil shaving-like aromas and flavors that give way to a full-bodied, layered and concentrated 2011 that has beautifully integrated oak, plenty of mid-palate and a terrific finish. Enjoy it anytime over the coming 10-15 years. Enough can’t be said about the quality coming from this estate, and Christophe Baron, who’s assisted by Elizabeth Bourcier, produces, in this reviewer’s opinion, some of the most distinctive and exciting wines on the planet. As I said last year, there’s no secret here, and Christophe simply has fantastic terroir, works his ass off in the

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Abreu "Rothwell Hyde" St. Helena Bordeaux Blend. This is Abreu's second wine, but they put all their same meticulous attention to detail into this bottling. Robert Parker marvels about Abreu's 2011s: "The work that the famous viticulturist and wine producer David Abreu does, along with his assistant Brad Grimes, is at the top of the qualitative hierarchy in California, if not the entire world. His four vineyards produce ravishing wines of great richness, complexity and aging potential. Even in vintages where others might stumble, such as 2011, somehow Abreu’s magic in the vineyard translates into wines of fabulous intensity and compelling quality in the bottle."

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard has sweet berry fruit, roasted herbs, incense, a touch of background wood spice and foresty notes all present in this medium-bodied, slightly lighter style of Pinot Noir from Marcassin. This was a challenging vintage, but the wines turned out outstanding, and very Burgundian. The alcohol is 13.9%, which is one of their lowest sugar levels.
