2002 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru ((94-96RP), 94BH, 94ST, 93JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Chambertin Clos de Beze bursts with spicy red cherry aromas. This medium to full-bodied wine has an exceptionally spicy personality that is crammed with red licorice (Twizzlers), candied raspberries, Asian spices, and blackberries. Wonderfully focused and armed with substantial depth, this medium to full-bodied wine’s exceedingly long finish displays awesomely ripe tannin. (PR)" (06/2004)

2002 Rousseau Chambertin Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Rousseau Chambertin Grand Cru ((94-96RP), 96VN, 95BH, 95JG). Vinous: "Rousseau's 2002 Chambertin is in the zone. Succulent, racy and open, the 2002 is ready to deliver pleasure. The purity of the fruit alone is striking. Even so, the 2002 is still very much at the early part of its first plateau of maturity, as the flavors remain very bright and fresh. In this vertical, the 2002 comes across as a wine of immediacy, with a bit less structure and overall energy than the very best vintages. I say that with some hesitation, as the 2002 is exceptional. Drink through 2042. (AG)" (08/2017)

2010 Philippe Pacalet Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Philippe Pacalet Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-94BH), (92-94RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Charmes-Chambertin floats from the glass with endless layers of expressive dark red fruit. With time in the glass, the wine’s expressive inner perfume emerges more fully in a subtle, understated expression of Pinot that is striking. High-toned floral notes wrap around the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2030. (AG)" (02/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Bruno Clair Gevrey-Chambertin "Clos St-Jacques" (95VN, 93BH, 93DC, 93RP). Vinous: "The 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos-St.-Jacques dazzles from start to finish. There is a palpable sense of explosive energy to the dark red and black fruit. Exceptional in its balance and full of nuance, the Clos-St. Jacques delivers a fabulous, Grand Cru-level drinking experience. The huge, resonant finish implores readers to be patient, although that will be very difficult here. This is one of the highlights of the range. (AG)" (04/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru ((93-95BH), 95ST, 95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Rich, generous, almost opulent, this brings together great layers of black fruits and figs, wood smoothness and dense, sensual ripeness allied to acidity. There’s power here, too, but it’s a wine to revel in. (RV)" (03/2007)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Armand Rousseau Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" (97VN, (92-94RP), 93BH, 92ST). Vinous: "A last minute addition, Rousseau's 2002 Clos St. Jacques nearly stole the show (actually it did!), proving why it is revered among Burgundy lovers. Arguably one of the youngest and most vibrant wines of the evening, the Clos St. Jacques impressed for its intense fruit and phenomenal balance. It was the perfect ending to a fabulous night of food, wine and conversation. (AG)" (02/2012)

2011 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St-Jacques" Vieille Vigne
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St-Jacques" Vieille Vigne (95JG, 95ST, 94VN, 93BH, 93DC, 93RP). John Gilman: "Last year’s commemorative bottling of the one hundred year-old vines in the Fourrier section of Clos St. Jacques is now a thing of the past, and there is once again only a single cuvée of Clos St. Jacques in the cellars in 2011. Oh, but what a wine! The deep, transparent and magical nose wafts from the glass in a very sappy blend of red and black cherries, cocoa, grilled meats, black minerality, woodsmoke, fresh thyme and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a great core, a properly reserved structure, exceptional focus and a very long, chewy and still quite primary finish. This is going to be an absolutely brilliant wine at its apogee. (Drink between 2023-2075)" (11/2012)

2017 Claude Dugat Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2017 Claude Dugat Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru ((94-96RP), (94-96VN), (92-94BH)). Vinous: "The 2017 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru shows a lot of reduction on the nose, although giving it 10 minutes to unfold it reveals exquisite blackberry, wild hedgerow and crushed stone aromas that gradually gain momentum. The palate is crisp and precise, quite compact but elegant with a silky finish and touches of black truffle emerging on the aftertaste. This vies with the Chapelle-Chambertin as Dugat's best 2017, my hunch is that this will ultimately surpass it. (NM)" (01/2019)
