According to the importer: "Appellation controlled, red semi-sweet wine “Khvanchkara” is made from the Mujuretuli and Alexandrouli grape varieties grown in the district of Racha-Lechkhumi. Racha-Lechkhumi is located in western Georgia at the basins of the Rioni and Tskhenistskali rivers.
