2018 Domaine Petroni Corse Rosé (Corsica)

Corsica is one of the great, off-the-radar regions for wine production. The vineyards for Petroni date back to 1885 and are surrounded by the Corsican mountains to the west and the Mediterranean to the east. The winery is now in the hands of brothers Jacques and Francois Ramazotti. Like most classic rosés of this region, it is a blend of 50% Niellucciu, 35% Sciaccarellu, and 15% Grenache. How to describe Corsican rose? It is one of the finest of its kind with notes of nectarine, peach blossom, and white flowers. It is succulent with wonderful acidity and ...

2018 Zudugarai "Amats" Rosé Getariako Txakolina

Amats is both the brand name of the Txakoli as well as one of Zudugarai's vineyards. It's a beautiful vineyard, a sandy substrate covered in naturally growing green cover between the rows, with the Cantabrian Sea in full view to the north. Produced from Hondarribi Beltza grapes, this rosé shows a lovely balance between fresh red berries, hints of watermelon, a very subtle, pleasant bitterness and fizzy quality. It's delicious with cured cheeses (something slightly smoky like Idiazabal works really well), charcuterie, anchovies or your favorite cured ham ...

2018 Bodegas Muga Rioja Rosado

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "A stony, fresh nose is clean as a whistle, while this feels medium to full, with a faint skin-driven texture and citrusladen acidity. Orange and nectarine flavors are bright and fairly deep, while it remains alert across a snappy finish. (MS)" (12/2019) James Suckling: "Light cherries, strawberries, and white flower notes, even a touch of peach, emerges from the 2018 Rosado and it's medium-bodied, has beautiful fruit, good purity, and a clean finish. 2018 Ion Wines Clements Hills Lodi Rosé

Benjamin Flajnik prides himself on crafting drinkable dry rosé wine. He started Ion Wines because rosé wine is fun, light, and in his opinion, "should always be consumed with oysters and/or caviar." Winery note: "On the nose it’s tropical, floral and inviting. But, notes of guava, lemon zest and lychee on the mid palate steal the show. It’s dry, powerful and the bright mineral driven acidity lends a crispness to the finish. The 2018 is sourced from Clements Hills (Lodi) 79.94%, Mendocino 20.06% and varietals are: Pinot Noir 48.28%, Zinfandel 31.31%, Cins ...

2018 Domaine de la Ferme Blanche Cassis Rosé

A beautiful terroir skillfully worked by Jérômine Paret and Philippe Garnier. Responding to the call of his parents, Jérômine gave up a career as an English teacher to take over the family estate. 2018 Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Grignolino Rosé

The rule around the Heitz house has long been that the rosé must be ready by Easter! Wine enthusiasts have shared the Heitz Family's affection for this unique wine since 1961. The Grignolino (pronounced green-o-lean-o) Rosé is produced with a northern Italian varietal, known in the Piedmont region as the "little strawberry." The original vineyard, since replanted to the Heitz home ranch, was called by its former owner, "The Only One." 2012 Château Musar Rosé Bekaa Valley

Château Musar is Lebanon's most famous producer. The winery does not make rosé every vintage, because the winemaker (the late Serge Hochar) sought very specific characteristics from the grapes he uses to create a fine, delicate and elegant rosé. The 2012 is composed of the indigenous Lebanese grapes Obaideh (55-65%) and Merwah (30-40%), thought to be ancestors of Chardonnay and Semillon, and a small amout of Cinsault. From the winery: "Elegant salmon pink in colour, this fragrant rosé has aromas of peaches, white fruits and flowers, basil with a hint of ...
