2017 Domaine de la Ganse Vacqueyras (375ml)

Coralie Onde was from a winemaking family but opted to start her own project independent of her family estate, Domaine les Ondines. In 2008, Coralie formed her new estate in Vacqueyras when she purchased some terrific old vine fruit and also took a small holding when the family estate was split. With close to 9 hectares, Coralie began the organic certification process and was officially certified in 2014. Her vines are aged from 15 to 55 years, and the soils are primarily chalky-clay with some galet (river stones). The 2017 is about 70% Grenache with 30% ...

2007 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (375ml)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Vieux Telegraphe may be the greatest wine made at this property since the 2005 and 1998. Dense ruby/purple-tinged with an exquisite nose of salty sea breezes, licorice, ground pepper, jammy black cherries, black currants, figs, and plums, this is a full-bodied, rich, Provencal-styled offering with lots of sweet, ripe tannin. It is surprisingly accessible for a Vieux Telegraphe (this wine normally shuts down several years after bottling), but it should have great longevity (25+ years) given its power, ful ...

2009 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (375ml)

94 points Wine Spectator: "This is crammed with fruit, spice and structure, as braised fig, plum skin, cassis and anise notes wrestle with roasted apple wood, melted red licorice and tar for now. The embedded grip should carry the finish until this assimilates fully. Best from 2014 through 2024." (10/2011) 93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby. Intense red fruit and potpourri aromas show excellent precision and a suave, spicy character. Licorice and lavender nuances add complexity to juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flav ...

2018 Domaine de Terrebrune Bandol Rosé (375ml)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 60% Mourvèdre, 20% Cinsault and 20% Grenache, the 2018 Bandol Rose is crisp, tight and ungenerous at this stage, but it could open up nicely and surprise over the next couple of years. It's medium-bodied but lean, with notes of white chocolate, lime and melon that need a bit of time in the bottle to come together. (JC)" (05/2019) K&L Notes: A blend of 50% Mourvedre, 25% Grenache and 25% Cinsault.

2014 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (375ml)

92-93 points Vinous: "Bright ruby-red. High-pitched red and dark berry scents display excellent clarity and pick up a hint of smokiness as the wine opens up. Juicy and focused on the palate; intense, appealingly sweet cherry, black raspberry and spicecake flavors show a suave blend of weight and vivacity. Finishes with impressive energy and cut, delivering dusty, late-arriving tannins and lingering spiciness. (JR)" (09/2016) 92 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Esprit de Tablas checks in as a blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 35% Grenache, 20% Syrah and the rest Cou ...

Quady North Rhône Blend Rogue Valley Rosé (250ml Cans)

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Herb Quady's deft touch with rosé is exquisitely expressed among his three distinct 2018s. This bottling blends 56% Grenache, 39% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, all specifically planted and picked to be made as rosé. Juicy, crisp and complex, this is a sappy mix of apple, peach and apricot, dusted with cinnamon."

2017 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (375ml) (Pre-Arrival)

95 points Decanter: "At Beaucastel the Grenache and Cinsault are fermented in cement while the Syrah and Mourvèdre are fermented in foudre. The result features finely pixellated fruits of the forest on the nose, with a full-bodied but mightily fresh and lively palate. The Mourvèdre element is strong this year, bringing vibrancy and power. It's firmly savoury, very dry and dramatic. A very tannic year has produced a seriously structured Beaucastel for the long term. Drinking Window 2022 - 2030. (MW) " (10/2018) 95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Château ...

2016 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (375ml)

94-95 points Vinous: "Bright violet. Smoke-accented cherry and blackberry aromas are complemented by suggestions of candied licorice, musky rhubarb and cracked pepper. Chewy and broad on entry and then tighter in the midpalate, offering concentrated dark berry preserve and spicecake flavors and a sweet touch of candied violet. Closes on a recurring floral note, showing impressive persistence and suave, even tannins. (JR)" (09/2018) 94 points Wine & Spirits: "Robert Haas, founder of the wine-importing firm Vineyard Brands, established Tablas Creek in pa ...
