2017 Chateau de la Maltroye Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru "Clos du Chateau"

90 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "(a monopole that is situated within Maltroie). A very pungent nose is composed by notes of petrol, smoke and sulfur that are enough to bury the fruit at present so I would suggest decanting this first if you’re tempted to try a bottle young. Otherwise there is good punch if only average density to the delicious and appealingly stony medium weight flavors that terminate in a dry, clean and citrusy finish." (06/2019)

2015 Domaine Michel & Stephane Ogier "La Combe de Malleval" Condrieu (Previously $60)

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Stephane commented that he did everything he could to maintain freshness in his 2015 whites, and he’s done a fabulous job with both Condrieu releases. The 2015 Condrieu La Combe de Malleval comes from two separate parcels and offers a textbook array of apricot, flower oil, crushed rocks and sappy flowers, with building depth and richness on the palate. It’s a gorgeous Condrieu that will be even better this time next year and drink well for 4-5 years at a minimum. " (12/2016) 93 points Vinous: "Pale yellow-gold. ...

2017 Domaine Bégude "Etoile" Chardonnay Limoux (Previously $20)

Jancis Robinson: "Pale lemon. Overt malolactic popcorn notes and a definitively tropical expression of Chardonnay: pineapple and passionfruit. Caramel and cinnamon sweetness. Full body, oily lees richness, passionfruit and caramel, with bright rather than brisk acidity. Creamy, mealy, medium-long finish. Well-enough made in its bold idiom. 16/20 points. (TJ)" (04/2019) K&L Notes: Domaine Begude is a small family-owned property located high in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the Limoux region of the Languedoc. 2017 Domaine Tabordet "Les Petites aux Bues" Pouilly-Fumé (Previously $25)

Nestled in the village of Verdigny, Domain Tabordet is run by brothers Yvon and Pascal Tabordet, who took the reins back in 1981. When the two brothers first took over the estate, it consisted of three hectares (7.4 acres) in Sancerre. By 1988, they had added another 4.5 hectares of Sancerre and another 12 hectares (29.7 acres) in neighboring Pouilly-Fumé, just across the Loire River. The soils here have a similar character to those of Sancerre, but one of the defining characteristics of Pouilly-Fumé wines is the smoky, flinty aromas (fumé), which result ...

2016 Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits-St-Georges Blanc 1er Cru "La Perriere" (Previously $105)

89-91 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Pale yellow with a rather evolved oaky nose. This is typical at this stage according to Grégory. A very attractive wealth of fruit appears on the palate which is fresher though still oaky. 20% new oak on this and the reds." (01/2018)

2008 Pape-Clément Blanc, Pessac-Léognan (Previously $160)

93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2008 Château Pape Clément Blanc is still going strong and has impressive purity and freshness. Classy notes of lemon curd, pineapple, flowers, and honeysuckle all emerge from this beautifully mineral-laced effort, and it’s medium-bodied, vibrant and balanced on the palate. The blend of the 2008 is 45% Semillon, 43% Sauvignon, and the rest Sauvignon Gris." (02/2019) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 45% Semillon, 43% Sauvignon Blanc, 8% Sauvignon Gris and 4% Muscadelle that hit 14.5% natural alcohol from y ...

2017 Chateau de Vaudieu "Clos Belvedere" Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc (Previously $70)

94 points Wine Spectator: "Juicy and focused, with a flash of hazelnut along the edges, while lemon chiffon, white peach and yellow apple fruit notes form the core. Bright verbena and meringue echoes add range on the finish. (JM)" (10/2018) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "All barrel-fermented Grenache Blanc, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos du Belvedere is an excellent effort and a fine successor to the 2016. Delicate hints of pencil shavings frame bright nectarine and tangerine fruit flavors in this full-bodied wine. It's rich, silky ...

2012 Les Matheny Chardonnay "6 ans sous voile" Arbois Blanc (Previously $45)

From the importer: "Both of them born and bred in the Jura, Elise and Emeric Foléat began Les Matheny—playfully named after their tiny home village of Mathenay—in 2007, and their holdings today encompass three and a half hectares of vines spread among Arbois, Montigny-les-Arsures, and Poligny. In the rustic old farmhouse they converted into a winery, thoughtful experimentation rooted in local tradition is their operative philosophy. Giving concession neither to easy marketability nor to the notion of a “product line,” the Foléats take each harvest as it ...

2016 Domaine Billaud-Simon Chablis 1er Cru "Vaulorent" (Previously $55)

88-90 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An appealing touch of mineral reduction adds a bit of breadth to the cool aromas of pear, citrus rind, seaweed and iodine. Like the Mont de Milieu there is impressive richness and volume to the sappy and equally succulent flavors that are borderline creamy on the sneaky long finish. This is certainly pretty but it's almost too rich and as such I suspect that it will be better drunk in its youth than aged for more than a year or two." This is the new Jura project of Patrick Ligeron and 2016 is just the second vintage for this house. 100% Savagnin, this has flavors of ripe fruits like apricot and apples with a touch of ripe citrus fruits and pepper.
