Robert Parker's original Wind Advocate review for this wine, which has 132-grams-per-liter residual sugar and an alcohol level of 13.9%, was 93 points in 2006. Following up in 2013, former Advocate reviewer Neal Martin preferred the 2005 and 2007 vintages, but favorably noted about the 2003 that "the palate has fine viscosity and spiciness on the entry – orange zest, mandarin and dried apricot at its heart."
