Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A classic Meursault nose of hazelnut, white peach and soft pear aromas gives way to fresh, vibrant and energetic middle weight flavors that culminate in a lingering if mildly bitter finish. My note assumes that the bitterness will quickly dissipate as I suspect that it's sulfur-related." (01/2011) Wine Spectator: "Loosely knit, featuring baked apple and grapefruit flavors with a touch of spice. This is rich, just lacks focus, ending with echoes of apple and spice. Drink now through 2014. (BS)" (02/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Arnaud Ente Meursault "Clos de Ambres" (93JG, (89-91BH), 91RP, 91ST, 91VN). John Gilman: "The 2009 Clos des Ambres is one of the few 2009s that I tasted on this trip which showed off the same crystalline profile that was evident in so many top white wines in the 2008 vintage. The very complex bouquet is excellent, as it offers up scents of apple, lemon, orange, great minerality, a touch of iodine, hints of the nuttiness to come, vanillin oak and a topnote of apple blossoms. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and very minerally on the backend, with a fine core, snappy acids and great focus and cut on the finish. Just a beautiful bottle of Meursault. " (12/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Arnaud Ente Meursault (92JG, (87-90BH), 90ST). John Gilman: "The 2009 Meursault AC from Monsieur Ente is another really lovely bottle in the making, which delivers a superb aromatic blend of apple, tangerine, almonds, complex minerality and a floral topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and very racy, with fine mid-palate depth, lovely focus and superb length and grip on the classy finish. Fine juice. (Drink between 2013-2030)" (11/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Arnaud Ente Meursault "Les Petits Charrons" (93JG, (89-92BH), 91ST, 90VN). John Gilman: "Petits Charrons is one of the warmer microclimates in Meursault and the 2009 version from Arnaud Ente is the ripest wine in the cellar this year, weighing in at 13.3 percent alcohol. But the wine is most emphatically not overripe by any stretch of the imagination, just classic Meursault. The very lovely nose offers up scents of apple, oranges, a bit of passion fruit, hazelnuts, iodine, lovely minerality and citrus zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and a touch broader on the attack than the Clos des Ambres, with a fine core, impeccable focus and balance and great backend cut and minerality. Just a stellar bottle. Drink between 2015-2035." (12/2010)
