Winemaker's Notes: "Looking back on 2016, we’re quickly reminded of the year’s ideal growing conditions whenever we open a bottle of this Classic Pinot Noir. Warm afternoons and cool nights played a big part in providing us with balanced, ripe fruit grown on our Estate Twin Creeks Vineyards. At harvest, we crushed and destemmed the Pinot Noir before cold-soaking it in fermenting bins. This allowed us to extract more color before fermentation starts. As the wine fermented, we performed three punch-downs a day then racked the free run wine into barrel. Aft ...
