2015 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco
Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2015 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco (93RP, 93W&S, 93WE, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I tasted this wine after bottling but before its commercial release. The 2015 Barbaresco will hit the market on September 1st. It was scheduled to be released in October, but because Produttori del Barbaresco is already out of stock of the 2014 Barbaresco, they decided to move this release up and shorten waiting times. I mention that because you definitely don't want to pop the cork too early. The 2015 vintage opens to a visibly darker color and thicker concentration compared to recent past vintages. Next to the upcoming 2016 and 2017 editions, we can expect 2015 to be the most fruit-forward of the three. You get dark tones of plum and blackberry with dry tannins at the rear. (ML)" (06/2018)

This bottling is made from top vineyards in Barolo and La Morra. It has a gorgeous bouquet of rose, leather and a whiff of tar. The palate delivers a hint of carob, spice and succulent black cherry notes. Impeccably balanced, this is elegant and complex. A textbook Barolo. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (09/2013)

Wine Spectator: "Stunning, almost buttery in its richness, smooth, rich and complex, has power and finesse, plus chocolatey richness that can only become greater. 2010 Domenico Clerico "Pajana" Barolo
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Domenico Clerico "Pajana" Barolo (94ST, 94W&S, 93JS, 93RP, 93WS, 90WE). Wine & Spirits: "The 7.5 acres of nebbiolo vines that Domenico Clerico farms in Pajana, a cru in Ginestra, Monforte d’Alba, date to 1965 and 1970. He produces this wine in rotofermenters and ages it in French oak barriques (80 percent new) for 24 to 30 months. So you might expect it to be massive, but you might not expect the underlying energy of the 2010 vintage that drives it, or the delicacy of the bright, violet-scented fruit. While powerful oak tannins dry the mouth, the fruit rejuices it—fresh black fruit touching on anise and truffles. It’s finely integrated and built for long aging." (12/2014)

2007 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Brunate - Le Coste" Barolo
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Brunate - Le Coste" Barolo (96RP, 96WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Barolo Brunate-Le Coste is a regal, aristocratic Barolo. Firm tannins keep some of the extroverted qualities of the vintage in check. This shows marvelous inner minerality and coolness, with deep layers of fruit, menthol, licorice and tar that fill out the wine’s broad shouldered frame. The Brunte-Le Coste shuts down pretty quickly in the glass, suggesting it may be headed for a period of dormancy. Today, it is flat-out stunning. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2038. (AG)" (10/2011)

1978 Bruno Giacosa "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco Riserva
Bid on this bottle of 1978 Bruno Giacosa "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco Riserva (100JG, 99VN). John Gilman: "I have had the good fortune to taste the 1978 Santo Stefano Riserva from Bruno Giacosa on many occasions- despite no longer owning any bottles in my personal cellar- but, I have never had one as flawlessly mature as this most recent bottle at The Rare Wine Company tasting. To my mind, this is absolutely perfect Barbaresco and I could not imagine a finer bottle, as the wine soars from the glass in a celestial aromatic blend of cherries, orange zest, fresh herb tones, gloriously complex soil nuances, gamebirds, coffee, lavender, woodsmoke and a lovely, autumnal topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and beautifully vibrant and bouncy, with bottomless depth, laser-like focus and magical complexity and grip. The finish is stunning, with still a fair bit of ripe tannin to resolve, tangy acids and profound length and complexity. This is just perfect Barbaresco that is only

Full-bodied, with ultrafine tannins and an incredible finish. This is so fine and so long. A real beauty that grows and grows on the palate. Great Nebbiolo. Greatest Costa Russi ever, from 34-year-old vines. Best after 2010. *Collectibles* (JS)" (07/2004)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Brunate-Le Coste" Barolo (96VN, 94JS, 93RP, 93ST, 93WS, 92WE). Vinous: "Dark cherries, plums, cloves, violets, incense, orange rind and tobacco meld together in the 2009 Barolo Brunate-Le Coste. A massive, powerful Barolo, the 2009 boasts stunning depth, power and richness, all in a relatively open style for this estate. I imagine the 2009 will drink well relatively early for top-flight Barolo, but it has fabulous class and intensity. (AG)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Domenico Clerico "Ciabot Mentin Ginestra" Barolo (95ST, 94RP, 93WS, 92JS, 90WE). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full red. Liqueur-like plum and black cherry on the nose. Then fine-grained and classy but tightly wound, showing utterly primary flavors of cherry, red berries and menthol. There's no way into this extremely backward wine today. But it has the racy acidity and excellent clarity for a spectacular evolution in bottle. 95+ (ST)" (12/2013)

2008 Accomasso Barolo Riserva
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Accomasso Barolo Riserva. Lorenzo Accomasso is from Bartolo Mascarello’s generation, and has been crating Barolo from his vineyards for a very long time. 1982 Bruno Giacosa "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco Riserva
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Bruno Giacosa "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco Riserva (97VN, 96JG, 93RP, 90WS). Vinous: "At its best, the 1982 Barbaresco Riserva Santo Stefano is one of the greatest wines I have ever tasted from Bruno Giacosa. Sweet red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, mint and hard candy give the wine its sensual, inviting personality. Medium in body, persistent and beautifully focused, the 1982 is a Riserva that speaks to power over finesse. Readers fortunate enough to own the 1982 will want to check in on their bottles. Although the 1982 will hold for at least a few years, it won’t get any better than it is today. It would be a shame to miss the 1982 at its height of expression, as it is a truly magical bottle. 1978 Bruno Giacosa "Villero di Castiglione Falletto" Barolo
Bid on this bottle of 1978 Bruno Giacosa "Villero di Castiglione Falletto" Barolo (96VN). Vinous: "These three 1978s from Bruno Giacosa were all lovely. None are considered among his very best work by thecognoscenti, so they remain somewhat under the radar, but they are jewels just the same. The 1978 Barolo Villero (white label) was finest of the three wines in this flight. Although not up to the level of the 1978 red label Villero, the white label was a fine poor-man’s substitute, with plenty of vineyard and vintage character, and that inimitable Giacosa perfume.
