2014 La Chablisienne Chablis 1er Cru "Beauroy"

93 points Decanter: "White flowers and minerals on the nose. Delicate but vibrant expression with zingy acidity and gentle citrus and creamy notes." (06/2017) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chablis 1Er Cru Beauroy has a delightful bouquet with limestone-scented citrus fruit that fan out from the glass. The palate is clean and fresh with a fine line of acidity, quite intense mineral-driven citrus fruit segueing into a poised, harmonious and stony finish. This is a well-crafted, delicious Beauroy. 2014 La Chablisienne Chablis 1er Cru "Vaucoupin"

90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin has a perfumed bouquet with yellow flower scents filtering through the citrus fruit and granitic aromas. The palate is lively and tensile, citric at first but then displaying commendable weight and fruit intensity; it has hints of ginger and lemongrass lending spiciness towards the finish that fans out with confidence. I like the chutzpah of this Chablis and it should age well. (NM)" (08/2016)

2014 Domaine Drouhin-Vaudon Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (Pre-Arrival, Elsewhere $100)

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru les Clos as picked on September 17 and has the highest alcohol degree and still is a modest 13.3%. The nose is quite complex and cohesive with yellow flowers and honeysuckle, a touch of granite underneath. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, more weight and fruit intensity than the Vaudésir, and then it fans out with confidence towards the finish with some lovely candied orange peel notes. This is a superb Les Clos with a long future ahead. (NM)" (08/2016) K&L Notes: ...

2008 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros-Côte Bouguerots"

96 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An exceptionally elegant high-toned and strikingly layered nose of oyster shell, mineral reduction and perfumed cool green fruit is extremely seductive and serves as a fascinating introduction to the concentrated, serious and powerful yet refined flavors that ooze a fine minerality on the mouth coating and hugely long finish. This is blessed with buckets of sap that completely buffer the firm acid spine. This is a flat out great effort that is indisputably a "wow" wine. Drink: 2015+" (10/2010) 95 points Robert Park ...

2014 Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Grand Cru "Vaudesir"

93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is also distinctly woody and while the oak doesn't dominate the ripe and mildly exotic white and yellow orchard fruit nose, it can't be described as subtle. Otherwise there is a lovely sense of purity to the intense, sleek and generous yet precise medium-bodied flavors that possess a succulent mouth feel, all wrapped in an impressively complex and lingering finish. Like the Bougros my rating assumes that the wood will ultimately be successfully integrated." (10/2016) 92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "T ...

2009 Domaine Dauvissat-Camus (René & Vincent) Chablis 1er Cru "La Forest"

92-94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Knockout Chablis aromas of steely minerality, crushed stone, lemon, white flowers, fresh green vegetables and white pepper. Wonderfully rich and generous on the palate, the sweetest yet of these 2009s and boasting the roundness of the vintage's best examples. The minerality returns on the back end, which finishes with notes of silex, warm stones and licorice. Superb premier cru in the making." (08/2010) 90-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A notably more complex nose offers up more classic C ...

2011 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros-Côte de Bouguerots"

93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is also completely classic and even more aromatically complex with a plethora of sea shore nuances to the cool green fruit scents. On the palate this is dense, powerful and quite serious with brooding flavors that brim with dry extract that buffers the firm acid spine on the intensely mineral-driven and explosively long finish. This is the biggest wine in the range yet impeccably well-balanced and if not exactly refined, then certainly not rustic either. If this can add even more depth than I am projecting my pr ...

2007 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros "Côte Bouguerots"

94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A somewhat riper but more reticent nose features the barest hint of wood spice that marries well with the explosive green and yellow fruit aromas and fresh, full, powerful, beautifully delineated flavors underpinned by a driving minerality and stunning length. Given the superb balance and firm acid spine, this should age effortlessly for at least 15 years, perhaps longer. In sum, this is a strikingly elegant, classy and altogether refined effort with flat out marvelous complexity with buckets of classic Chablis chara ...

2014 Patrick Piuze Chablis 1er Cru "Montée de Tonnerre"

90-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This was so strongly reduced that it was impossible to read the nose and the funk carries over to the petrol-infused, muscular and concentrated flavors that are hugely long but quite awkward and not particularly well-balanced. My projected range is based mostly on how good the underlying material seems to be but I am noting this with a question mark because there is no guarantee that it will clean up properly." (10/2015) 92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre has a ...

2013 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru "Les Preuses"

94-96 points Vinous: "The 2013 Chablis Preuses stands out from the rest of this lineup for its extraordinary bouquet. I could stand in front of this barrel all day. Dried flowers, sage, slate, crushed rocks and lime race across the palate as this tense, pulsating Chablis captivates the senses with its extraordinary purity and finesse. Magnificent from the very first taste, the 2013 Preuses might also turn out to be one of the wines of the vintage. Sadly, yields are down 30%. 2013 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos"

95 points Vinous: "Pale yellow. Higher-pitched on the nose than the Preuses, offering strong oyster-shell minerality lifted by lavender and violet nuances. Densely packed, tactile and suave, displaying outstanding energy and inner-mouth citrussy lift. Comes across as less violent than the Preuses, and more perfumed on the palate. Finishes with oustanding length and a magically light touch. (ST)" (08/2015) 93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "There is a barely discernible touch of wood framing the green apple, lemon peel, floral, iodine and oyster shel ...

2007 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Preuses"

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Chablis Preuses – reflecting the nearly one-quarter of this site (in two parcels) that Fevre owns – immediately forces the taster into a crustacean vocabulary, with the mineral, saline, sweet, and seductively savory character of scallops and lobster shell reduction coming to mind. A superb creaminess and uncanny sense of underlying density combines with levity and subtly citric refreshment – imagine a rich, creamy shellfish stock whipped to a froth – while wafting iris perfume and the wine’s sheer extrac ...

2007 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos"

96 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "I had a chance to retaste this side by side with its 2008 counterpart and the '07 matches the brilliant quality albeit in a different style due to the vintage characteristics. As such, I am raising my rating slightly. An aggregator is how I would describe this nose as the range of aromas and subtle nuances is genuinely amazing with a purity of expression that is nothing short of riveting with the classic assertive mineral reduction character that suffuses the character of this wine from the incredibly detailed nose t ...
