2017 La Chablisiènne Chablis 1er Cru "Montée de Tonnerre"

91-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Moderate wood stops just short of intruding on the appeal of the otherwise intensely floral nose that is liberally laced with notes of oyster shell, iodine and lemon rind nuances. There is a lovely sense of refinement to the restrained and discreetly mineral-inflected flavors that deliver fine persistence and precision on the saliva-inducing finale. Excellent potential. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*" (10/2018) 92 points Decanter: "Concentrated lemon; spicy, toasty oak and a brooding smokiness lead to a fresh, minera ...

The palate is clean and fresh with a fine line of acidity, quite intense mineral-driven citrus fruit segueing into a poised, harmonious and stony finish. This is a well-crafted, delicious Beauroy. 2014 La Chablisienne Chablis 1er Cru "Vaucoupin"

90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin has a perfumed bouquet with yellow flower scents filtering through the citrus fruit and granitic aromas. The palate is lively and tensile, citric at first but then displaying commendable weight and fruit intensity; it has hints of ginger and lemongrass lending spiciness towards the finish that fans out with confidence. I like the chutzpah of this Chablis and it should age well. (NM)" (08/2016)

2017 La Chablisienne Chablis 1er Cru "Fourchaume"

90-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Once again the oak regimen is subtle but not invisible as it frames the lightly exotic aromas of orange peel, lychee and pear compote. The exceptionally rich and succulent middle weight plus flavors coat the palate with sap while exhibiting fine depth and length on the balanced finish where the wood resurfaces. This should drink well young but have no problems aging over the mid-term." 2017 Domaine Samuel Billaud Chablis

89-91 points Vinous: "The 2017 Chablis comes from three parcels, one by Chapelots with small yields, one in La Pargue and one in front of Vaillons from 80-year old vines. It has an elegant bouquet with yellow flowers, citrus lemon and light chalky scents that open nicely in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a captivating linearity and focus, very taut with a saline finish that gets that old saliva flowing. Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is aromatically similar to the Petit Chablis though there is both a bit more volume and complexity to the succulent and notably round middle weight flavors that are delicious if not exactly classic. This too should drink well young." (10/2017) Wine Spectator: "A tangy version, offering lemon, apple and earth flavors, with a chalky feel as this plays out on the moderately long finish. 2017 Domaine Louis Michel Chablis 1er Cru "Butteaux" Vieilles Vignes (Pre-Arrival)

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Butteaux is showing very well, offering up lovely aromas of waxy lemon rind, beeswax, ripe apples and oyster shell. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, deep and nicely concentrated, with chewy dry extract, ripe acids and a long, nicely defined finish. This is one 2017 that nods to the 2015 vintage in structure and scale, but it's nicely balanced and will reward some bottle age. 2017 Domaine Pinson Chablis 1er Cru "Mont de Milieu"

91-94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here too there is a whiff of wood present on the expressive and vaguely exotic nose that offers up notes of algae, iodine, white peach and seaweed. As is usually the case with this wine there is excellent volume, power, muscle and mid-palate density to the medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the almost painfully intense mineral-driven finish that flashes a bit of youthful austerity. This is terrific and offers excellent upside development potential. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*" (10/2018) ...

Limes and lemons, white and yellow peaches, some apples and shaved fennel, fresh chalk and fresh flowers, too. The palate has such seamless and unwavering linearity, driven by contained acidity that delivers a wake of fleshy, white-peach, lime and lemon-curd flavor. So long, seamless and fresh. Like the Mont de Milieu there is impressive richness and volume to the sappy and equally succulent flavors that are borderline creamy on the sneaky long finish. 96 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An exceptionally elegant high-toned and strikingly layered nose of oyster shell, mineral reduction and perfumed cool green fruit is extremely seductive and serves as a fascinating introduction to the concentrated, serious and powerful yet refined flavors that ooze a fine minerality on the mouth coating and hugely long finish. This is blessed with buckets of sap that completely buffer the firm acid spine. This is a flat out great effort that is indisputably a "wow" wine. Drink: 2015+" (10/2010) 95 points Robert Park ...

2016 Domaine Samuel Billaud "Montée de Tonnerre" Chablis 1er Cru

92 points James Suckling: "The weight of Montée is evident here. This has impressive, rich and fleshy appeal with a core of white peaches and ripe melon. Smooth rich and even. Drink or hold. " (08/2018) 89-92 points Vinous: "(made from two plots, one high in Chapelots and the other in Montée de Tonnerre): Orange zest, pink grapefruit and a touch of mineral reduction on the distinctly rocky nose. Densely packed and fine-grained but quite closed in the early going, showing little in the way of easy sweetness in spite of its soft citrus notes. This is bro ...

2017 Patrick Piuze Chablis Grand Cru "Blanchots"

94 points John Gilman: "The 2017 Blanchots from Patrick Piuze is far more closed down on the palate than any of the grand crus to precede it in this lineup, but it does offer a quite expressive nose out of the blocks of tangerine, apple, chalky soil tones, a touch of grapefruit and a topnote of orange peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with a reserved personality, fine cut and grip and a long, primary and perhaps very, very promising finish. This is going to certainly be very good when it blossoms, but I do not ...

2017 Domaine Samuel Billaud Chablis Grand Cru "Blanchot"

90-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Even though the wood regimen may have been reduced, it still isn't subtle though I can say that it stops short of dominating the white flower, apple, tidal pool and pear aromas. The succulent, seductive and generous flavors coat the palate with sap yet there is no sense of heaviness thanks to the excellent minerality that helps to add lift to the clean and moderately dry finish. This is carrying more wood than I personally prefer but the density is such that there is a reasonably good chance that it will ultimatel ...

2007 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (96ST, 95RP, 95WS, 94BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright yellow. Subtly complex nose melds Asian pear, violet, lavender, ginger, iodine and powdered stone. Tactile and dense on entry, then creamy in the middle, conveying an impression of great volume without weight. This extremely backward, youthfully understated Clos firms up dramatically on the back end, finishing with palate-saturating citrus and talc flavors that refuse to fade. One of the longest Chablis bottlings I tasted for this issue, this truly transcends Chardonnay. 96+ points. (ST)" (07/2009)

2017 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru "Montée de Tonnerre" (Pre-Arrival)

90-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An elegant, pure and airy nose combines notes of white flowers, citrus, lemon-lime and plenty of classic Chablis character. There is also excellent volume, density and power to the refined medium-bodied flavors that presently are not quite as complex as they usually are on the lingering finish. The underlying material however appears to be first-rate and as such my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt that more depth will develop with time. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*" (10/2018) 93 points John Gilman: " ...
