1997 Robert Sinskey Los Carneros Merlot

The Carneros region is perfect for the early ripening Merlot grape. A long growing season, warm days and cool evenings are the perfect conditions to allow the Merlot grape to achieve optimal ripeness while maintaining mouth watering acidity. The Carneros climate helps the wine to develop rich flavors of bing cherry and blackberry with a touch of dried herb complexity and a texture that envelopes ones tongue. Perfect for full flavored cuisine. (K&L - Trey Beffa)

2013 Saintsbury "Sangiacomo - Green Acres Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (Elsewhere $40+)

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "A salty lick of saline brings the palate to attention before tingling acidity seals the experience: the wine's backbone a nicely balanced combination of generous oak that supports ripe fruit. Francois Freres and Taransaud barrels cradled the wine for 10 months, only 35% of it new, making for a robust yet elegant expression of the variety from this site. *Editors Choice* (VB)" (07/2016)

2014 Frank Family Carneros Chardonnay

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Plenty of exuberant fruit jumps from the glass of the 2014 Chardonnay Carneros. This wine was barrel-fermented in 34% new French oak, the rest in neutral wood, and all aged for nine months prior to bottling. It is a big, rich, exuberant style of Chardonnay - light gold in color, with nice pineapple and honeysuckle, good purity and a broad texture in the mouth without being heavy. (RP)" (12/2015)
