2016 Xavier Vignon "Cuvée Vieilles Vignes" Côtes du Rhône

93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre and the rest Cinsault and Syrah, the 2016 Côtes du Rhône Cuvée Vieilles Vignes offers a gorgeous bouquet of cassis, blueberries, lavender, cured meats, and graphite. It's deep, rich, medium to full-bodied, and has a great finish. The Mourvèdre keeps this tight and fresh, and I suspect it will age beautifully. 2015 Château du Mourre du Tendre "Vieilles Vignes" Cotes du Rhone Village

90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Côtes du Rhône Villages Vieilles Vignes Cuvée Tradition is another classic wine from this estate. Kirsch, currants, dried flowers, leather and some toasted, nutty notes all emerge from this medium-bodied, old-school, yet polished red that has tons of character. This cuvee is 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre brought up in concrete and foudres for a minimum of three years before release. " (02/2018)

2015 Chateau de Vaudieu "Amiral G" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Previously $90)

96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "My favorite in the lineup is the 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Amiral G., and like all the cuvées here, it has a voluptuous, sexy, yet elegant style. Black raspberries, framboise, spice-box, and floral notes all give way to a full-bodied, powerful, yet incredibly elegant Châteauneuf that has a weightless texture and a blockbuster finish. It's already drinking nicely, yet should cruise for a decade. This is another great lineup from Chateau de Vaudieu, who have risen to the top of the heap recently. They make a perfumed, elegant style o ...

2018 Château de Peyrassol "Commanderie" Côtes de Provence Rosé

The name of the estate is the first indication of its long, illustrious past. Located in the heart of Provence, near routes traveled by Crusaders in the early Middle Ages, the Commanderie de Peyrassol was founded by the Knights of Templar who were dedicated to protecting the Crusaders en route to, and in, the Holy Land. The first recorded grape harvest took place in 1256 and winemaking has continued uninterrupted throughout the centuries. When the Templars were brought down in 1311 by the King of France, who was nervous of their power and jealous of thei ...

2010 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Pre-Arrival)

97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Performing considerably better than it did prior to bottling, the 2010 Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf du Pape is one of the all-time great Vieux Telegraphes I have tasted in the last 3+ decades. I believe it is even superior to the 2007, which I had several weeks ago. The 2010 boasts a dense purple color along with a sumptuous bouquet of spring flowers, boysenberries, black cherries, black currants, nori (the sushi seaweed wrapper), black olives, licorice and pepper. This full-bodied, meaty, thick, juicy effort pos ...

2015 John Duval "Plexus" GSM Barossa Valley South Australia

94 points James Halliday: "Matured for 15 months in French oak (10% new). Richly robed in luscious fruits supported by gentle tannins and a dab of oak. It is well made (of course) and is strongly Barossan in temperament. What you make of this will depend on your personal preference." (08/2017) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro blend, the 2015 Plexus has a pale to medium garnet-purple color and nose of kirsch, red currant jelly and raspberry preserves with hints of Chinese five spice, hoisin, roses, black pepper and un ...

2016 Domaine la Garrigue "Cuvée Romaine" Côtes du Rhône

93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Cuvée Romaine is another smoking vintage for this cuvée, and in my view, the best to date, surpassing the 2005, 2007, and 2009. Blackberry, peppery herbs, garrigue and hints of leather all emerge from this ripe, full-bodied, incredibly sexy, opulent beauty. With sweet fruit, a stacked mid-palate, no hard edges, sweet tannin and a great finish, this is rockingly good. Buy a case and drink it over the coming 7-8 years. " (02/2018) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perennial value play, the 2016 Cotes du Rhone Cu ...
