A small version of our best deal in bubbles—direct from the Aristons. This all estate-grown wine is aged for an incredible five years on the lees before release, giving real depth and an honest, toasty flavor. It is composed of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Meunier, and is fermented in stainless steel with full malolactic. This is serious Champagne that keeps getting better every year. Aromas of freshly toasted bread and baked apples. If you have not yet tried it, you're missing out. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)

This is 100% Pinot Noir from Verzenay! The Arnoulds own 27 acres in the village of Verzenay, a quite sizable holding in this high rent area.

91 points Wine & Spirits: "This blend is mostly Pinot Noir and Meunier, including 10 percent red wine for color. Chardonnay accounts for 10 to 20 percent, including a portion of reserve wines that may be providing the oceanic, oyster-shell notes that bring to mind Champagne’s Kimmeridgean limestone. This is broad and loose up front, with fruity scents of orange and pomegranate. Then the wine keeps buzzing with brisk acidity, tightening up and extending the flavors with energy. An impressive release of Impérial." (12/2015) 91 points Wine Spectator: "Toa...

Wine Enthusiast: "This is Trudon's entry-level wine, with a nod to the family's historical use of 100% malolactic and reserve wines. Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir make for an open and very drinkable Champagne. Soft acidity and ripe apple fruits partner with a generous structure and richness. (RV)" (12/2018) K&L Notes: This Champagne is composed of 70% Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir and is aged three and a half years on the lees. The exotic, pure Meunier fruit in this Champagne marries with the creamy, delicately toasty aromas and flavors. The wine has no t...

Wine Spectator: "A firm, elegant style, this reveals floral, dough and candied berry notes. Harmonious, ending with a refreshing crispness." (12/2006) K&L Notes: This all-estate Champagne is aged for six years on the lees and is composed of 70% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. This wine has very fine, brioche like aromas from the long sur-lee-aging as well as a savory cherry note from the high-quality Pinot. It is very rich and long in the mouth, with a fine bead, again from long aging.

91 points James Suckling: "An updated and renovated NV offering from LP, this has bright white stone fruit aromas and flavors with a silky smooth palate and gently nutty build into the finish. Chardonnay leads the wine, while Pinot Noir and Meunier deliver structure and reserve wines add depth and interest. " (10/2017) 90 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is smooth and softly textured wine. With its relatively high dosage and creamy texture, this standard nonvintage cuvée is immediately accessible and delicious. Great fruit makes it a great aperitif style ...

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is an assertive, flavorful and robust wine, with a medium to full body, a mouthfilling texture and fine-beaded bubbles. A creamy viscosity and wonderful layers of butter, apple, vanilla and ginger make for a delicious palate. *Editors' Choice* (JG)" (12/2017) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Seamless and silky, showing an almost effortless sense of complexity, with notes of lemon and pear paired with toasty brioche, fresh ginger and hazelnut details. *Top 100 Wines of 2018, Smart Buys* (TF)" (05/2018) 92 points Decanter: "F...

92 points James Suckling: "Some oyster shell, berry biscuits, fresh strawberries and gently toasty brioche here. Lots to like. The palate is plump and flavorsome with plenty of berries and citrus intertwined. Good depth here. Grapefruit finish. Drink now. " (07/2018) 91 points Wine & Spirits: "This latest release of Yellow Label impressed our panel with the clarity of its flavors and their concentrated intensity. It’s rich and substantial, a meal in a glass, with flavors of cider apple, salty lemon and bitter lime pith. A satisfying aperitif. " (12/201...

93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Bollinger’s NV Special Cuvée knocks it out of the park. Made from 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and the rest Pinot Meunier, with 30% of the blend brought up in barrels, it boasts a rich, deep, medium to full-bodied style as well as terrific notes of lemon curd, crème brûlée, caramelized stone fruits, and hints of toasty nuttiness that develop with time in the glass. It’s a big, rich Champagne that stays balanced and pure. Beautiful stuff." (03/2018) 93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "There is lovely complexity to the distinc...

93 points Wine Spectator: "A graceful Champagne, sleek and finely knit, with a subtle range of nectarine, lemon curd, almond blossom and ground ginger flavors, expanding on the silky mousse. Offers a lingering, mineral-laced finish. (AN)" (01/2019) 92 points Vinous: "Light yellow-gold. Smoky citrus and orchard fruits on the deeply perfumed, mineral-tinged nose. Offers broad, toasty orange and pear skin flavors with an undercurrent of dusty minerals. Picks up floral and ginger nuances with air, along with hints of iodine and tarragon. Rich yet lively bl...

91 points Decanter: "Described by Drappier as 'almost a blanc de noirs', this Pinot Noir-dominant wine sourced from the Côte des Bar is the house's calling card. 5% of the cuvée is matured in barrels for a year for added complexity and texture, and it's bottled unfiltered with a fairly low dosage of 7g/l. There are some melon and apple scents on the nose along with a splash of red fruits, while the palate is intense, with notes of apple, quince and grape wrapped in a red-fruit veil. It's full-bodied and long, with a lovely texture from the red wine tanni...

92 points John Gilman: "July 2013 Release This bottle of Bruno Paillard Brut Rosé had been in my cellar for four and half years and is still on the youthful side and will continue to develop with further bottle age. The wine is very refined and minerally in personality, offering up a delicate bouquet of tangerine, white cherries, bread dough, caraway seed, citrus peel and a fine base of chalky soil tones. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and complex, with elegant mousse, fine focus and grip, blossoming complexity and a long, poised and still ...
