A small version of our best deal in bubbles—direct from the Aristons. This all estate-grown wine is aged for an incredible five years on the lees before release, giving real depth and an honest, toasty flavor. It is composed of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Meunier, and is fermented in stainless steel with full malolactic. This is serious Champagne that keeps getting better every year. Aromas of freshly toasted bread and baked apples. If you have not yet tried it, you're missing out. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)
Price: $16.99

The Ariston's vineyards are vastly different than those of the other blanc de blancs producers that we carry. The steeper slopes, less chalk and more fossils in the soil of Brouillet make for a rich, creamy style Chardonnay Champagne that will appeal to just about anyone. This is one of my favorite toasting Champagnes. All of the flavors are up-front and it's open-knit and fun. It is a perfect way to start a party. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)

This is 100% Pinot Noir from Verzenay! The Arnoulds own 27 acres in the village of Verzenay, a quite sizable holding in this high rent area.

91 points Wine & Spirits: "This blend is mostly Pinot Noir and Meunier, including 10 percent red wine for color. Chardonnay accounts for 10 to 20 percent, including a portion of reserve wines that may be providing the oceanic, oyster-shell notes that bring to mind Champagne’s Kimmeridgean limestone. This is broad and loose up front, with fruity scents of orange and pomegranate. Then the wine keeps buzzing with brisk acidity, tightening up and extending the flavors with energy. An impressive release of Impérial." (12/2015) 91 points Wine Spectator: "Toa...

Wine Enthusiast: "This is Trudon's entry-level wine, with a nod to the family's historical use of 100% malolactic and reserve wines. Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir make for an open and very drinkable Champagne. Soft acidity and ripe apple fruits partner with a generous structure and richness. (RV)" (12/2018) K&L Notes: This Champagne is composed of 70% Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir and is aged three and a half years on the lees. The exotic, pure Meunier fruit in this Champagne marries with the creamy, delicately toasty aromas and flavors. The wine has no t...

Fever Tree's soda water is made with natural spring water and has lots of bubbles - exactly what you need to bring out the finest points of a good whisky. Also great in cocktails and mocktails alike. About Fever Tree: "Following a 'tonic tasting' in 2000 to find the best on the U.S. market, Charles Rolls--who had built his reputation running Plymouth Gin--joined forces with Tim Warrillow, who had a background in luxury food marketing, to analyze the composition of mixers. The pair discovered that the majority of mixers were preserved with sodium benzoate...

St. Agrestis Negroni is a combination of St. Agrestis Inferno Bitter (to be released later in 2018), Greenhook Ginsmith's American Dry Gin and a sweet vermouth developed in house, to best balance this classically bittersweet tipple. Boozy, bitter and fresher than your normal negroni, this is a true Brooklyn tribute to the quintessential Italian classic. St. Agrestis Inferno Bitter is built specifically around the Negroni. Three separate macerations are created (sweet, bitter, citrus), before being combined and rested. Color for the St. Agrestis Negron...

From the official Angustura website: "Made with the same original secret recipe since 1824, the world famous Angostura aromatic bitters remains the quintessential and definitive ingredient for classic and contemporary cocktails. Its versatility, however, stretches way beyond the bar counter as it serves as a unique flavour enhancer with the ability to marry flavours in the preparation of all food dishes. Angostura aromatic bitters also adds its unmistakable flavour and aroma to 'soft' beverages and desserts."

93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Bollinger’s NV Special Cuvée knocks it out of the park. Made from 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and the rest Pinot Meunier, with 30% of the blend brought up in barrels, it boasts a rich, deep, medium to full-bodied style as well as terrific notes of lemon curd, crème brûlée, caramelized stone fruits, and hints of toasty nuttiness that develop with time in the glass. 93 points John Gilman: " The new release of Première Cuvée was disgorged in April of 2017 and hails from the base year of 2013. It was finished with a dosage of five grams per liter and offers p a lovely, still quite youthful bouquet of pear, apple, brioche a complex base of chalky soil tones and a nice touch of spring flowers in the upper register. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a lovely core, elegant mousse, bright acids and a long, focused and vibrant finish. This will be approachable early on, but as the not...

96 points Wine & Spirits: "Eric Lebel achieves the beautiful color of this wine with the addition of Pinot Noir fermented on its skins. The rest of the blend includes reserve wines and selections of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier that come together in Krug’s most ephemeral Champagne, an effervescent mist of flavor with the depths of a grand cru Vosne-Romanée. Resonant bass notes hold earthy complexity while vibrant freshness rises with the bubbles. An elegant rosé to pour with thin slices of roast duck breast." (12/2015) 96 points Wine Enthusiast: ...

91 points Decanter: "Described by Drappier as 'almost a blanc de noirs', this Pinot Noir-dominant wine sourced from the Côte des Bar is the house's calling card. 5% of the cuvée is matured in barrels for a year for added complexity and texture, and it's bottled unfiltered with a fairly low dosage of 7g/l. There are some melon and apple scents on the nose along with a splash of red fruits, while the palate is intense, with notes of apple, quince and grape wrapped in a red-fruit veil. It's full-bodied and long, with a lovely texture from the red wine tanni...
