92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chardonnay is an absolutely gorgeous wine. Understated and classy from start to finish, it shows off layers of ripe fruit, subtle oak and spices. There is plenty of acidity to balance an expression of fruit that is generous, but just short of hitting tropical notes. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2018. No one has done more to carry the banner for the Santa Rita Hills than Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton. Both together at Brewer-Clifton and separately in their other projects, Brewer and Clifton consistently del...

Antonio Galloni in Wine Advocate: "Peay is one of the most intriguing young wineries in Sonoma. Brothers Andy and Nick Peay bought their property in 1996 and began planting in 1998. This site, near Annapolis, is in the coldest part of Sonoma County. When things go well, the harvest takes place in October. Two tons per acre – considered very low anywhere else in the world – is a very generous harvest here. Normal yields are in the 1.3-1.5 tons per acre range. Vanessa Wong, Nick Peay’s wife and a veteran of Peter Michael and Hirsch, makes the wines." (AG)

96 points John Gilman: "The 2009 Dauvissat Les Clos is every bit a match for the surreal Les Preuses. The flawless bouquet offers up scents of green apples, grapefruit, a touch of young Chablis’ green fruit tones, a brilliant base of flinty minerality, smoky notes, dried flowers and wet stones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and absolute rock solid at the core, with a very racy chassis of acidity, laser-like focus and a brilliant, snappy and nearly endless finish. Stunning juice. (Drink between 2018-2045) 96+" (11/2010) 96 points Rob...

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95WS, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "Deliciously rich and layered, showing bold fig, honeydew melon and apricot flavors, with more subtle hints of citrus, mineral, crème brûlée and cedar. Deftly balanced, ripe and expressive, without weight. (JL)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $65.00
