2017 Clos de l'Anhel "Les Terrassettes" Corbières
Review Date: 11-18-2019
Think about a wine that satisfies your palate in every aspect? Well think no further! This was one of the first few wines I tasted when I joined K&L and I was so taken by how amazing and memorable it was. So memorable that I kept thinking about drinking it again and again. This lush, spice fest, mouthwatering wine has a harmony of meaty flavors. Deep, dark, approachable yet never boring , herbaceous and delightful. The dominant grape in this wine is Carignan which has a balanced flavor profile without the bitter tannin. This wine pairs well with more hearty food as well as lighter dishes. The Wine maker Sophie is a one woman do it all. She is the wine maker and manages everything herself. If all these incredible elements are not enough, add being Organic and Bio-dynamic to this magical potion in the form of wine!

2018 Field Recordings Blanc de Franc Paso Robles
Review Date: 06-11-2019
Pét-Nat you say ? Light, Natural and Fizzy! the wine is bottled prior to fully completing its first fermentation, allowing carbon dioxide to be produced by the natural sugars found in the grapes. Pét-Nat production is variable and can be difficult to control and that is why it requires a level of expertise on the winemaker’s part. The end result is Cloudy, creamy, light with a hint of green apples and absolutely delicious.

A more zen version of a Napa cab is this big, bold and textured wine. It is lush, rich but with plenty of old-world sensibility and much less overpowering oak finish. It is defiantly a beautiful vibrant wine with depth and noticeable firm body but it is so balanced and the dark inky fruit taste profile, mild oak, a touch of spice all work in such harmony that you can enjoy this voluptuous wine without feeling overwhelmed. It is a very food friendly red wine. so go on and give yourself a chance to try this exciting special wine for such an affordable price.
